Animal Prints….on FLEEK!

Just like many of you, I love my animal print fashion!  You can NEVER go wrong with accent pieces in leopard print, such as a scarf, statement clutch, or a nice blouse…but i’ve also invested in a few animal print dresses because they’re unique and I’m always opting for different!  In this post, i’m rocking 2 of my favorite animal print designs.  The first is a red & black mini-dress by Michael Kors.  I purchased this dress last fall and it was a steal for under $150!  I searched around online and it’s available via private sellers, in some cases for less than $100!  DEAL!  I love this dress – it’s dainty, beautiful red & black colors blend well and it fits perfectly.  The second design is by Derek Lam.  The mix of colors in this dress are a perfect combination of sage, black and cream and it comes with a nice thin belt that cinches at the waist to create the hour-glass look.  I’m just now getting into Derek Lam because his pieces are known for being super pricey, however, i  scored this cute little number at Barneys.com during the “off season” last year (Winter).  It was 40% off an already reduced sale price (of $250)…Now, how’s that for a come up!?!

Finally, the best thing about both of these cute little dresses is that they transition perfectly between spring, summer and fall. In the spring, pair with flats and a cute bag, in the summer, pair with sandals and a big tote, and for the fall, pair with thick leggings and pumps or boots (and possibly a fitted blazer for the chilly fall evening)!  #score
