Happy Winter Fashionistas! I know it’s hard to believe but winter season in SoCal can bring briskly cold weather from time to time. Granted, probably never cold enough to wear mink (although that’s debatable :-), but a tailored trench coat or a flowing wool cape are nice options to have on stand-by! It comes as no surprise that i’m wearing a green military-inspired trench from Burberry. I can’t think of a better designer who’s perfected the look and style of a trench. Beautiful hardware, colorful palette, and tailored fit, Burberry is the GO-TO brand when it comes to rain boots and trench coats!!! The Reversible Cape I’m sporting (purchased last season) is designed by The Row and I’ve searched high and low trying to find another one like it but no luck! Not only is the cape warm and soft but it’s so elegant! Plaid on one side, solid dark grey on the other…a belt to cinch the mid-section and pockets to hold your hands…LOVE! While i’m wearing jeans and boots in this look, i’ve also worn this cape over a dress and heels! It just works no matter the occasion and that’s why I love it!
