Cognac & Chambray
Cognac and Chambray is not the name of the latest new cocktail (for those of you who were wondering :-))! These are the colors I’m pairing in today’s post and it works! High waist pencil skirts will always be a staple in my wardrobe – not only are they stylish but it’s a timeless piece that will transcend seasons and trends. Sold exclusively at Intermix, this “Bailey 44” faux leather “Cognac” high waist pencil skirt is fabulous! Soft, subtle and the color is everything – something new to add to my list of favorite hues! Denim shirts are also very timeless and i happen to love the look of chambray, which is a lighter hue, almost white-washed. This Chambray denim shirt is by Current Elliott and I’ve worn it a million times, normally with jeans. I love the look of it paired with this skirt – the brush nickel buttons add a bit of edge and spice! To complete the look, I’ve added darker shades of brown with the Saint Laurent Y tote and leopard print “Pigalle” Christian Louboutin pumps.
